Cathy Shanks, CPM., has more than 30 + years of hands-on Commercial Real Estate experience. Throughout her career, she has successfully negotiated hundreds of transactions ranging from land to multi-tenanted MOB leases, acquisitions, and dispositions of institutionally owned portfolios valued at over $45M.  Her specialty is Property, Asset, & Healthcare Management. Cathy formed Alignment Real Estate Management (AREM) in 2017 to provide institutional quality property management services to commercial real estate owners in Northern Nevada.

Previously employed for 7+ years at Renown Health Regional Medical Center as the Director of Real Estate & Asset Management. Before Renown, Cathy worked for an elite group of commercial real estate companies, including Prologis, Syufy Enterprises, Trammell Crow, and Dermody Properties.

Her substantial diversity provides a depth of understanding that has proven invaluable in assisting clients through the nuances of real estate transactions. Cathy holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Behavioral Science and a CPM certification (Certified Property Manager) from IREM. She is also a licensed real estate salesperson in Nevada, a current CREW Member since 2021, and a former 2007 CREW vice president.
