DCG Industrial’s Baker Krukow, CCIM, Joel Fountain, SIOR, and Nick Knecht, CCIM represented Rain for Rent in the lease of a ±8,475-square-foot build-to-suit located at 2444 & 2502 USA Parkway in TRIC. The newly completed facility sits on ±4.24 acres just three miles south of I-80 and features four 14' x 16' grade-level doors, ±2,400 square feet of office space, and a secure, fenced yard. The project was developed by Tom Ortiz of Sierra General as a Finance Build-to-Suit for Rain for Rent and constructed by Bruce Purves Construction.
The relocation was driven by Rain for Rent’s need to expand into a larger facility that could better accommodate their growing operational footprint and provide more yard space for equipment and material storage. Additionally, the move brings them closer to their expanding client base in the Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center (TRIC), allowing for faster response times and more efficient service delivery.
“Our team was searching for a very specific facility requirement in Sparks — and at the time, nothing on the market met our needs. DCG leveraged its local relationships and market knowledge to identify an ideal parcel in the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center. From there, they guided us through a build-to-suit lease process that resulted in a brand-new facility tailored to our operations. The new space not only aligns with our unique business model, but also gives us improved access to our client base and room to grow in Northern Nevada." - George Jones, Regional Manager, Rain for Rent - Southwest Region
Rain for Rent is a national provider of temporary liquid handling solutions, serving industries such as construction, agriculture, industrial, and municipal sectors. This strategic location positions Rain for Rent to efficiently service TRIC and Northern Nevada customers.
Construction is nearing completion, with final site work and interior finishes expected to be completed by the middle of August.
