major climb in employment for the month of March as the unemployment rate fell to 5.8 percent. This is a small but steady improvement from last month’s 5.9 percent, and March is the first month to dip below 6 percent since April of 2008. This marks 63 consecutive months of job gains, putting Nevada in third place for employment growth nationwide. It also marks 44 consecutive months where Nevada outpaced the national average for monthly job growth. ]]>
