DCG’s Industrial team, Nick Knecht, Joel Fountain, SIOR and Baker Krukow represented the buyer in purchasing 12.8 acres of land in the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center at 455 Italy Drive. The industrial zoned land was purchased for $3,763,584 by RDM Group, a New Jersey based developer with plans to deliver a 171,000 square foot industrial building to the site. Located in Storey County, Nevada, the parcel is approximately nine miles east of the Reno-Sparks area via the Interstate-80 freeway. Just 3 miles from Interstate-80, the parcel neighbors Walmart and Petsmart distribution facilities and is close to major corporations such as Tesla, Switch, Google, Blockchains, and many others.
The Tahoe Reno Industrial Center is a massive 107,000-acre park encompassing a developable 30,000-acre industrial complex. The main entrances are the Patrick and USA Parkway interchanges off Interstate-80. Both the Union Pacific Railway and the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway service selected areas of the industrial center.
TRI Center currently has approximately 15,000 acres in Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III zoned for industrial use, with plans for future expansion. This vast park is intended to be a mixed-use, nonresidential development comprising a wide range of industrial, office, and commercial businesses. About 11 million square feet of industrial space is now used by almost 130 companies.
